I am a PhD student working at the Multimedia Computing & Communication Lab with Prof. Zhu Li at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, USA. My research lies at the intersection of computer vision and machine learning, with a current focus on event-based vision algorithms. My past work includes privacy-preserving face recognition, video deduplication, license plate recognition, and image matting.

Previously, I worked as an Intern Research Scientist/Consultant at AtomBeam Technologies, where I focused on phase unwrapping for InSAR. I also worked as a PhD Intern at Thales, where I worked on contactless fingerprint recognition. I earned my ME degree in 2019 from Gachon University, South Korea, and BE degree in 2015 from Hamdard University, Pakistan. At Gachon University, I worked as a research assistant at the Pattern Recognition & Machine Learning Lab under the supervision of Prof. Sang-Woong Lee.
